Dr. james smith

Pastor Jim has been a pastor for over twenty-five years. Rona Community Church is the third church that he has served as lead pastor. His strengths are preaching and teaching. Jim considers his greatest earthly accomplishment to be his lifelong marriage to Sue as well as their parenting of their two (now young adult) children, Kayla and Kyle. Outside of partnering, parenting, and pastoring, he enjoys many outdoor activities – camping, backpacking, kayaking, fire-building, hiking, wood-cutting, etc., as well as working around their house. His personal mission statement declares: “I am on a mission from God to aid the development of healthy disciples of Jesus Christ – in myself, my family, my church, my community, and my world
